The Millennium Excellence Foundation will for the first time in Ghana host Africa’s Youngest Billionaire, Ashish J. Thakkar, founder of Mara Group and Foundation to a Legacy Series Talk and Master Class on the 14th of May 2018.
The aim of this edition of the Legacy Series Talk and Master Class is to allow the young Billionaire who is also the Chair of the United Nations Foundation for Global Entrepreneurship speak and engage Ghanaian business leaders and entrepreneurs on a myriad of issues in business and operating a successful African enterprise.
Mr. Thakkar will hold a question and answer session with participants, and share his real-life success story whiles providing insights on how to crack the proverbial Business Ceiling.
Ashish Thakkar is among ‘Top 40 under 40’ and can as ‘Africa’s Youngest Billionaire.’ He was also named in Fortune Magazine’s list of ‘Top 40 under 40’, Esquire Magazines’ ‘Middle East Man of The Year,’ and Author of ‘The Lion Awakes: Adventures in Africa’s Economic Development.’
His entrepreneurial prowess at this young age has propelled him to share the African Stage with President Paul Kagame, Olusegun Obasanjo, and business leaders like Mo Ibrahim whiles sharing the international stage with President Bill Clinton, former first lady the late Barbara Bush, Michael Dell, Sean Penn to mention a few.
The Legacy Master Class is part of a Legacy Series initiated by Ambassador Ashim Morton president of the Millennium Excellence Foundation to inspire and lead Ghanaians and Africans to achieve its rightful place in society via a myriad of programs and activities. Ambassador Ashim and MEF’s quest for solving Africa’s problems led to the monthly Legacy Series, a symposium-style event which includes a Master Class aimed at imparting knowledge to excel in business and to inspire others to succeed
